The audience for dance music is primarily white males, the average age of the audience is between 15-20 years old. The reason it appeals to a younger generation is because dance music is a new genre of music so the elderly would not have grown up listening to it. The majority of the audience is english/emerican because these are the places that the music was formed and became popular. The target would also usually attend festivals a concerts because they play a big part in the dnce music genre.
